“When I came to this country from Bogotá, Columbia, I could only find part-time temporary work. All the full-time jobs I applied for required good English and computer skills—two skills I did not have. A friend suggested I go to Pinnacle Career Resources to learn how to get a better job. I started going to their Career Advancement Workshops and soon met other people in the same situation. Pinnacle gave me the help and financial support to go to school and learn more English and computer skills. After a few months, I secured a full-time job as a customer service representative at a large financial organization.
