Would you like this year to be the year that you keep those New Year resolutions? Or maybe there is a dream you have put on the "back burner" for far too long and would like to realize in 2008?  If so, then come join our new group that will help you to address the things that hold you back and create a Life Plan that will keep you motivated to reach your goals in 2008.

How to Start a Successful Small Business Workshop Series

Thinking of starting your own business? Learn how to turn your business idea into a successful small business. Led by a Small Business Coach with over 20 years of entreprenurial experience, you will have the opportunity to evaluate your business idea, learn marketing techniques to reach customers, connect with financial resources and understand what entreprenurial qualities you must have to be successful.

Workshop Series (4 Saturdays): Jan 26th, Feb 2nd, 9th and 16th, ENROLLING NOW

FEE: $295 for Workshop Series

Scholarships available for low to moderate income residents of Howard County

Employment Connection ™ Program

Career Advancement Program:  Designed to help individuals progress from entry-level positions to ones with greater earnings and potential for advancement.  The program consists of: Career Workshops, Basic Computer Training, Individual Career and Life Coaching and Job Referral.

Winter Session:  Begins February 9th ENROLLING NOW

FEE: Training is FREE for low to moderate income residents of Howard County.  There is a registration fee of $25.00.

Career Management Program: This program is for the more savvy job seeker or career changer.  This program is customized to meet your career needs and includes 5 individual career coaching sessions with Maria Smith and a subscription to our Virtual Career Center.

FEE: $695*
*Sliding Scale Fee based on income is available
